For the unversed, vaping is banned in India since 2019 under the Prohibition of Electronic Cigarettes Act, (PECA) 2019. This law prohibits the production, manufacture, import, export, transport, sale, distribution, storage, and advertisement of all electronic cigarettes and similar devices.

Therefore, Parag has landed in a serious trouble as he fears imprisonment as well. The 24-year-old has scored just 116 runs in nine innings, averaging just 14.50. Notably, his best innings came against PBKS only as he scored 29 (16). There is a pressure on the youngster to score and lead from the front.

However, the latest controversy won't do any better for him as he will be further under scrutiny and will have to explain his actions in the coming days. Notably, RR will next face Delhi Capitals on May 1.

Rajasthan Royals In Major Controversy For 2nd Time In IPL 2026

Notably, Romi Bhinder received a show-cause notice from the Indian board, but it was expected that no serious action would be taken against the Rajasthan Royals team manager. However, the IPL committiee announced a 1 lakh fine on Bhinder.
