RCB vs KKR: Captains Thoughts
Ajinkya Rahane (Kolkata Knight Riders captain): (On what he would have done if he had won the toss) "We wanted to bowl first as well.
(On KKR’s recent form and playoff chances) Absolutely. The last four games have been really good for us as a team. Everyone is now starting to perform well. For us, it’s about keeping things simple. We want to take one game at a time, respect the opposition, and focus on winning the small moments in the game. We’re really looking forward to this match.
Rajat Patidar (Royal Challengers Bengaluru captain): "(Decision and his reading of the pitch) We will bowl first. I think it is a similar wicket to the last match. I think it will play pretty much the same. Both wickets (the one used in the last game and this one) pretty much the same. There might be some good bounce, but lets see how it goes.
(On the last game against MI) Tight match. But it was a good game for us. Everyone has a lot of confidence after the way we played the last game.
