Ishan Kishan's grandfather Anurag Pandey, has shared a significant update about the cricketer's marriage. Speaking to Dainik Bhaskar, he revealed that he had once asked his grandson about when he plans to get married.
According to him, Kishan gave a heartwarming reply. "I asked my grandson, ‘Will I be alive until your wedding?’ and he told me, ‘I will get married next year. You will have to stay alive until I have my baby. He will play in your lap," Anurag Pandey said.
He also expressed happiness about the cricketer's personal choices and said the family would support whoever he decides to marry.
Ishan Kishan's mother denies marriage plans for now
However, earlier, it is important to mention that the Ishan's mother, in a conversation with IANS, dismissed the ongoing rumours and said that there are no discussions about marriage at the moment.
"No marriage conversation right now, it’s only the time for his cricket, he [Ishan] is still very young in terms of age?" said Ishan’s mother to IANS.
She explained that the family's main focus right now is on Ishan Kishan's career. According to her, Ishan is still young and is currently fully focused on his game and responsibilities as a professional cricketer.

Addressing the comments made by her grandfather, she said that elderly family members often get excited about weddings and relationships after seeing news and posts on social media. She added that such remarks should not be taken as confirmation of any immediate plans.
“Grandfather is quite old now, the elderly people have an excitement about the kids’ marriage. A lot of stuff on social media about kids' relationships makes the elderly people in the family excited,” she asserted later while denying the marriage possibilities.
