The BCCI has finalized the venues of the IPL 2026 playoffs. MS Dhoni has still not attained complete fitness to warrant a place in the CSK playing XI. In other news, Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya is not travelling with the team to Raipur.

BCCI finalizes venues for IPL 2026 playoffs

The BCCI has finalized the venues for the IPL 2026 playoffs. As per the announcement, the Mullanpur Stadium in New Chandigarh and the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala will be hosting the two qualifiers and the eliminator.

The final will be hosted by the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, replacing the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru owing to “certain operational and logistical considerations”.

MS Dhoni still not fit for IPL 2026 return: Report

MS Dhoni has still not attained complete fitness to warrant a return to the CSK playing XI this IPL 2026 season, as reportedly confirmed by a franchise official. A Jagran reporter claimed that the legendary wicketkeeper-batter did not travel to Delhi earlier this week for CSK’s away match against the Capitals because he has informed the management that he will not play until he is “completely fit”.

Dhoni suffered a calf injury prior to the launch of the season a couple of months ago.

Hardik Pandya not travelling with MI team to Raipur

Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya did not travel to Raipur with his colleagues for their upcoming IPL 2026 match against defending champions RCB. The cricketer was also forced to miss Mumbai Indians’ previous game against the LSG at the Wankhede Stadium, prompting Suryakumar Yadav to take over leadership.

With Pandya suffering from back spasm, the franchise will now face the RCB on May 10 in Raipur.

Netherlands name squad for 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup

Cricket Netherlands has named a 15-player Netherlands squad for the upcoming 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in England. Babette De Leed will be leading the national side, as Netherlands gear up for their first-ever appearance in a Women’s T20 World Cup.

The team also includes Caroline de Lange, Heather Siegers, Lara Leemhuis, Sanya Khurana among others. Netherlands’ opening match will be played against Bangladesh Women on June 14 in Edgbaston.

BCCI announce India A, U19 and Women’s schedule

The BCCI has announced the entire schedule for the upcoming series involving India Women, India A (men and women) and India U19 (men and women) sides. As per the schedule, the India A Men’s team will be taking on Australia for an unofficial Test and One-Day series between September 22 and October 11.

India U19 team will also be hosting their Australian counterparts in September. The India Women’s team is scheduled to host Zimbabwe in October.
