India Women secured a historic Test win against England. Head coach Stephen Fleming and the CSK franchise have parted ways from each other. The ECB has named England’s playing XI for the first ODI against England.

India Women thump England to script historic Test win
India Women walloped hosts England by 270 runs on Day 4 of their one-off Test match at Lord’s in London. Defending 457 runs for a win, Indian bowlers Deepti Sharma (2-36) and Sneh Rana picked up final four wickets on the day to steamroll the hosts for just 186 in 62.5 overs after they had resumed the chase at 130-6.
In doing so, India became the first side in history to secure a Women’s Test win at the iconic England venue.
Tanaka Chivanga punished by ICC after ZIM vs BAN series
Zimbabwe fast bowler Tanaka Chivanga has been punished by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct. The speedster was handed one demerit point by the ICC for letting out an “audible obscenity” against teammate Innocent Kaia during Zimbabwe’s third ODI of the three-match series against Bangladesh at the Harare Sports Club in Harare a couple of days ago.
Stephen Fleming sacked as CSK coach
The CSK franchise has parted ways with Stephen Fleming as the head coach of the team. The former New Zealand captain had been associated with the franchise since the inaugural edition of the tournament.
Fleming was even a part of CSK’s team as a player back in 2008, before taking up the coaching role. Under his guidance, the franchise won five IPL titles to become the joint-most successful team in the history of the tournament.
Jos Buttler set for 200 ODI caps as England name playing XI vs India
The ECB has named England’s playing XI for their upcoming first ODI of the three-match series against Team India in Birmingham. Jos Buttler is set to play his 200th ODI match with the game, having started his career back in 2012.
Young Jacob Bethell will open the innings with Ben Duckett, while Adil Rashid will lead England’s spin attack alongside Liam Dawson and all-rounder Will Jacks.
Shimron Hetmyer replaces Justin Greaves for NZ ODIs
Shimron Hetmyer has been called up to the West Indies squad for the remainder of their five-match home ODI series against New Zealand. The 29-year-old played the last of his 57 ODIs for West Indies back in June last year.
He has been added to the squad as an official replacement for Justin Greaves, who has been ruled out owing to an injury.
