In match 10 of the ongoing ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026, India Women will face the Netherlands Women on June 17 at the Headingley, Leeds.

India Women will enter this match after a strong start to their Women's T20 World Cup 2026 campaign. Harmanpreet Kaur's team defeated Pakistan by 64 runs in their opening game. 

Smriti Mandhana starred with the bat, scoring 68 runs off 44 balls, while Richa Ghosh added a quick 34 runs at the end of the innings in just 17 balls. 

With the ball, Deepti Sharma delivered an outstanding performance, taking five wickets for just 10 runs.

The Netherlands, meanwhile, are looking for their first win of the tournament. The team lost to Bangladesh by six wickets in a last-over thriller in their opening match. 

Captain Babette de Leede fought hard with a well-made half-century, but the Dutch top order struggled during the Powerplay, making it difficult for the middle order to recover. 

The IND-W vs NED-W match will be only the Netherlands' second-ever appearance in the Women's T20 World Cup.

Two captains - Harmanpreet Kaur (IND-W) and Babette de Leede (NED-W) are in the middle for the toss.

Netherlands Women captain Babette de Leede have won the toss and opted to bowl first.

It is important to note that India have made two changes in the playing XI - Yastika Bhatia and Nandani Sharma are included in place of Bharti Fulmali and Arundhati Reddy. 

At the toss, Harmanpreet mentioned that Arundhati Reddy is resting for the game.

In the case of Bharti Fulmali, she failed to make a significant impact in India's last match, scoring just 1 run. So, in her place, the team has added Yastika Bhatia to strengthen the batting department, and she might turn out to be an X-factor for India.

On the other hand, Netherlands Women have made one change, with Sanya Khurana making way for Myrthe Van Den Raad in the playing XI.

Harmanpreet Kaur (India Women Captain): "[Thoughts on batting first?] I think it's a great opportunity for us to bat first. It is a challenge for us in the overcast conditions. Happy to bat first because we wanted to challenge ourselves.

[Areas to improve today after last win?] I think the powerplay with bat and ball. That is something we are looking forward to today. Hopefully, we will bat well in the powerplay and pick some wickets in that phase.

[Key to succeed here?] Just sticking to your own plans and taking it deep. In these conditions, you can't hit from ball one. You have to take it deep and adjust to the conditions.

[Changes?] Arundhati is resting today and in place of her, Nandani Sharma is back.

[No complacency today while facing Netherlands today?] I know they are a very good side. They are improving every single game. Hopefully, we play our best game today."

Babette de Leede (Netherlands Women Captain): (On the toss decision) "We're going to bowl first. I think we'll get something out of the wicket, hopefully. And then chase down the target.

(On facing India) The team is super excited for this opportunity. I think playing against India is a dream come true, especially here in Leeds. We're super excited. A little bit nervous, but more excited than anything else.

(On the information from players familiar with the venue) It's good to have someone who has played domestic cricket here. She gave us a little bit of insight about the pitch and the stadium. Obviously, it's her home ground. We're hoping to see her shine later with the bat.

(On team changes) We have made one change. We're playing an extra pacer and dropping a batter."
