Notably, Chahar started the match on September 24 at Taunton and batted in Surrey's first innings, scoring three runs off 13 deliveries. The England Under-19 cricketer has limited domestic experience, with the all-rounder also bowling slow left-arm orthodox spin. He has scored 68 runs and taken five wickets from his two first-class appearances.Albert's most notable performance came against Pakistan Under-19 this month, when he impressed with an 88-run knock and a six-wicket haul in the same match.Rahul Chahar's Impact For Surrey In County CricketChahar was one of the most important members of Surrey's 2026 squad, alongside pacers Matthew Fisher, James Taylor, Sean Abbott and Tom Lawes. He was also one of the prominent spin options in Surrey's bowling department.Chahar, one of the youngest T20I players to represent India, accumulated 14 wickets at an economy rate of just 3.29 while striking once every 45.00 deliveries in red-ball cricket. His six-wicket haul against Essex helped Surrey significantly in drawing the match after Essex were bowled out for 279 in their first innings, while Surrey had struggled to 183.
