Ravindra Jadeja enters rare all-rounders club
Ravindra Jadeja picked up three Sri Lanka wickets on Day 3 of India’s series-opening first Test match in Galle. In the process, the cricketer also scaled past the 350-wicket mark in his Test career as he picked up figures of 3-57.

Jadeja has now become only the fourth all-rounder in history to complete a Test double of scoring over 4,000 runs and picking up more than 350 wickets in the format.
Babar Azam doubtful for first Test vs England
Pakistan captain Babar Azam is doubtful to play the first Test of the three-match series against England. The legendary Pakistan batter is yet to fully recover from his hand injury, especially after getting struck there during Pakistan’s warm-up match against the Professional County Club Select XI in Beckenham a few days ago.
Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Abbas confirmed that the medical team and the team management will determine Babar’s fate before the opening day of the match itself.
Nigar Sultana to lead as Bangladesh name Asia Cup, Asian Games squad
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has named a combined squad for the Bangladesh Women’s cricket team for the upcoming 2026 Women’s Asia Cup in the UAE and for the 2026 Asian Games Women’s T20 event in Japan.
Nigar Sultana will lead the national side in both tournaments, and the team also features fellow star performers like Ritu Moni, Fahima Khatun, Rabeya Khan and vice-captain Nahida Akter.
Darwish Rasooli to lead Afghanistan in Asian Games 2026
The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has named the entire Afghanistan squad for the upcoming Asian Games 2026 Men’s T20 event in Japan. It is worth noting that the national selection committee rested several experienced members like Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran among others.
Darwish Rasooli was named new Afghanistan captain, and the team mostly features young players that took part in the recently-concluded Shpageeza Cricket League 2026 season in Afghanistan.
Charlie Dean to lead England Women in Ireland ODIs
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has also announced the entire squad for the England Women’s team for the upcoming ODI series against Ireland Women. Charlie Dean will lead the side, and the selection committee has decided to rest senior pros like Nat Sciver-Brunt, Sophie Ecclestone, Lauren Bell and Amy Jones.
