Angkrish Raghuvanshi has been named the deputy to the Baroda batter, Priyanshu Moliya, who slammed 379 runs in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025/26, including back-to-back centuries. Nayudu Trophy winners, Tamil Nadu, in the coveted fixture at Chennai's iconic MA Chidambaram Stadium. The four-day tie will be played between October 1 and 4. Angkrish Raghuvanshi is the only IPL player included in the Rest of India U23 squad. At the same time, captain Priyanshu Moliya, Manan Bhat and Digvijay Patil will take the batting duties in the 15-member squad. Punjab's budding all-rounder Emanjot Singh Chahal is also included in the Rest of India team, with Aravelly Avanish Rao and Mayank Verma named as two wicketkeeping options.
