Out of the seven players, Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq are facing legal battles back home. Whereas, head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed and bowling coach Umar Gul were replaced by Mike Hesson and Ashley Noffke ahead of the final Test match vs England.The Pakistan T20I team is expected to feature in the Asian Games 2026 under the leadership of the Kiwi coach, Hesson. However, one of the key members of the Men in Green's backroom staff has resigned. Ashley Noffke leaves Pakistan to be Netherlands' head coachOn Wednesday, the Australia-based coach Ashley Noffke has called it quits from his position as Pakistan's bowling coach. Although he would travel to Japan for the Games, it will be the 47-year-old's last assignment with the Men in Green. Notably, he was first hired as the bowling coach for the two white-ball formats in May 2025, before he called in at the last minute to fill in for Umar Gul as the red-ball coach last month. The outgoing Pakistan coach has already decided his next destination, as the Netherlands has signed him as their next head coach.
