Former India captain Sourav Ganguly is all set to be inducted into the International Cricket Council (ICC) Hall of Fame (as reported by RevSportz). Known as the 'Prince of Kolkata' and affectionately called 'Dada,' Ganguly transformed Indian cricket with his fearless leadership and aggressive mindset.
As a batter, he was among the finest left-handers of his generation, while his captaincy inspired a new era of confidence in Indian cricket.
With this honour, Ganguly will become the 10th Indian men's cricketer and the 12th Indian overall to be inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame.

The ICC Hall of Fame is one of the highest honours in world cricket. Introduced by the ICC in 2009, it recognises players who have made extraordinary contributions to the game through exceptional performances.

Bishen Singh Bedi (2009)
Bishan Singh Bedi became the first Indian men's cricketer to be inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame in 2009. Widely regarded as one of the greatest left-arm orthodox spinners in cricket history, Bedi was admired for his control and flight.
He represented India in 67 Test matches, claiming 266 wickets at an outstanding economy rate of 2.14. He also played 10 ODIs, taking 7 wickets.
In first-class cricket, Bedi enjoyed an incredible career, playing 370 matches and taking a remarkable 1,560 wickets.
Sunil Gavaskar (2009)
One of the finest opening batters the game has ever seen, Sunil Gavaskar, was also inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame in 2009. His flawless technique against the world's fastest bowlers made him one of cricket's biggest icons.
Gavaskar played 125 Tests, scoring 10,122 runs at an average of 51.12, including 34 centuries and 45 half-centuries. In 108 ODIs, he scored 3,092 runs at a strike rate of 62.26.
Kapil Dev (2010)
India's 1983 World Cup-winning captain Kapil Dev entered the ICC Hall of Fame in 2010. Regarded as India's greatest fast-bowling all-rounder, he represented India in 131 Test matches, with 434 wickets at an average of 29.64 and an economy rate of 2.78.
He also scored more than 5,000 Test runs, making him one of the game's finest all-rounders. In 225 ODIs, he picked up 253 wickets at an economy rate of 3.71. With the bat, he scored 3783 runs at an average of 23.79 and a strike rate of 95.07.
Anil Kumble (2015)
Legendary leg-spinner Anil Kumble was inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame in 2015. He remains India’s highest wicket-taker (953 wickets) and is only the second bowler in history to take all 10 wickets in a Test innings.
Kumble represented India in 132 Tests, taking 619 wickets at an average of 29.65, including 35 five-wicket hauls and eight 10-wicket match hauls. He also played 271 ODIs, with 337 wickets to his name at an economy rate of 4.30.
Rahul Dravid (2018)
Known around the world as 'The Wall', Rahul Dravid earned his place in the ICC Hall of Fame in 2018. His patience and unmatched technique made him one of the greatest Test batters of all time.
Dravid played 164 Test matches for India and made 13,288 runs at an average of 52.31. In 344 ODIs for India, he accumulated 10,889 runs at an average of 39.16 and a strike rate of 71.23.
Sachin Tendulkar (2019)
Sachin Tendulkar was inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame in 2019. His career lasted more than two decades and produced records that continue to inspire cricketers around the world.

Tendulkar played a record 200 Test matches and made 15,921 runs with 51 centuries. In 463 ODIs, he managed to make 18,426 runs. Across international cricket, he scored 34,357 runs and remains the only player to register 100 international centuries.
Vinoo Mankad (2021)
Vinoo Mankad was inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame in 2021. An outstanding all-rounder, Mankad excelled with both bat and ball during the early years of Indian cricket.
He featured in 44 Test matches with 2,109 runs to his name at an average of 31.47, while also taking 162 wickets. In first-class cricket, he scored 11,591 runs in 233 matches and registered 26 centuries.
Virender Sehwag (2023)
Explosive opener Virender Sehwag became an ICC Hall of Fame inductee in 2023. Famous for his fearless batting approach, Sehwag changed the way opening batters played Test cricket.
He scored 8,586 runs in 104 Test matches at an average of 49.34, with a highest score of 319. Representing India in 251 ODIs, Sehwag made 8,273 runs with 15 centuries at an average of 35.05 and strike rate of 104.33.
MS Dhoni (2025)
Former India captain MS Dhoni was inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame in 2025 after an unforgettable international career. Under his leadership, India became the only team to win all three major ICC white-ball trophies: the 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 ODI World Cup, and 2013 Champions Trophy.
Dhoni represented India in 90 Test matches and made 4,876 runs at an average of 38.09. The star player also represented India in 350 ODI matches and managed 10,773 at a remarkable average of 50.57.
Sourav Ganguly (2026)
Sourav Ganguly is the latest to be added to the list as per the latest reports. The finest left-handed players of his era represented India in 113 Test matches and made 7,212 runs at an average of 42.17.
In 311 ODIs, he scored 11,363 runs at an average of 41.02 and a strike rate of 73.70.
