The PSL 2026 season is set to begin on March 26 as Lahore Qalandars take on Hyderabad Kingsmen at the Gaddafi Stadium. However, the league will have a limited contingent of foreign players this year due to schedule clashes with the IPL.
Several overseas players pulled out of the tournament at the last minute after getting IPL contracts. While PCB is yet to take action on this, Cricket Australia have stepped in to help as several Aussie players are on their way to play PSL 2026.
On that note, let’s see the full list of Australian players who will play PSL 2026.
List Of All Australian Players Playing In PSL 2026
Islamabad United
- Max Bryant - The right-handed batter was signed by Islamabad United for PKR 1.95 crore at the PSL 2026 auction. Bryant previously played for Peshawar Zalmi but scored just 49 runs in 5 games. In the BBL, Max Bryant has over 1700 runs at a 24.15 average.

Peshawar Zalmi
- Aaron Hardie - All-rounder Aaron Hardie is an experienced bloke with close to 1500 runs and 38 wickets in the BBL. However, this year, he will make his PSL debut for Peshawar Zalmi. Earlier, he was rumoured to ditch the Pakistan Super League for the IPL. But Hardie eventually decided to honour his commitment to Zalmi.
Karachi Kings
- David Warner - Former Australian legend David Warner will continue to be Karachi Kings’ captain. He made his PSL debut last year and scored 368 runs as an opener.
- Adam Zampa - After failing to land an IPL deal, Adam Zampa signed up for PSL 2026 with Karachi Kings. Zampa is a quality T20 spinner with over 200 wickets in all franchise leagues combined.
Quetta Gladiators
- Ben McDermott - The wicket-keeper batter is back in the PSL in 2026 with Quetta Gladiators. He earlier played for Karachi Kings but only got featured in one game. As for his T20 stats, Ben McDermott has over 3000 runs in the BBL at 34.10 average.
- Sam Harper - Another wicket-keeper batter, Sam Harper, has also been signed by the Quetta Gladiators for PSL 2026. However, he will join the squad only after the Sheffield Shield final, which will take place on March 26.
Hyderabad Kingsmen
- Marnus Labuschagne - Hyderabad Kingsmen signed Test specialist Marnus Labuschagne for their PSL debut in what was a bold move. He is also a leading candidate for the captaincy role with an average of less than 30 in the T20 format.
- Glenn Maxwell - Star Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell will also offer his services to Hyderabad Kingsmen in PSL 2026. While Maxwell is way past his prime, his all-round skills are also useful in tense situations.
- Riley Meredith - The right-arm fast bowler is another quality talent with over 100 wickets in the BBL. He previously played in the PSL for Islamabad United and took 4 wickets.
Multan Sultans
- Steve Smith - PSL’s biggest overseas name of the 2026 season is none other than Steve Smith. With Multan Sultans, he will make his debut in PSL at the age of 36. Smith needs no introduction, as he will lead the Sultans’ campaign with the bat.
- Josh Philippe - Josh Philippe is a quality and experienced wicket-keeper batter that Multan Sultans signed for PSL 2026. He will mostly serve as a backup, but has over 2700 runs to his name in the BBL.
- Lachlan Shaw - A young 23-year-old prospect from Australia, Lachlan Shaw, will also make his PSL debut for Multan Sultans this year. In the last two BBL seasons, the wicket-keeper scored 196 runs at 24.50 average.
- Peter Siddle - 41-year-old Peter Siddle is still going strong in franchise cricket. He will also play his first PSL season with the Sultans, having vast experience in his resume.
- Ashton Turner - Ashton Turner will continue his PSL stint with Multan this year as well, after featuring in 3 games last year. He is also a veteran with over 2500 runs in the BBL.
