Top Order Batters: Devon Conway, Sameer Minhas, Haider Ali
Devon Conway is set to make his PSL debut this season, after playing CSK till last IPL season. The experienced opener who knows how to anchor an innings in a T20 game. He will be an asset to Islamabad while opening the innings. He will be a brilliant senior partner to a young Sameer Minhas, who has had a blazing season for Pakistan U19. With Conway on the other end, the 19-year-old can play his natural game by attacking from ball one.

Haider Ali had an awful season for the United, where he could score just 77 runs in six innings. He is set to bat at three, and it would allow him to demonstrate his real game. In the build-up to the season, Haider has played some fruitful knocks in the recent few tournaments.
Middle Order & All-Rounders: Mark Chapman, Shadab Khan, Dipendra Singh Airee, Imad Wasim
Mark Chapman hasn't played in the PSL yet, but he has surreal T20I numbers in Pakistan, scoring 416 runs in 10 innings at a strike rate of 164. The southpaw can solve Islamabad's puzzle in the middle overs.
The United are expected to use Shadab Khan and Dipendra Singh Airee in the middle order, as the two all-rounders have the ability to turn the game on its head. Every Islamabad fan knows Shadab's credentials in the PSL, but for those who don't know Airee, he can hit six sixes in an over and has the record for the fastest fifty in T20Is.
Imad Wasim is again with the United, and he has been a great player for them. The spin all-rounder is known for his big-game mindset, and that is what they need from him.
Bowlers: Faheem, Chris Green, Mohammad Hasnain, Salman Mirza
Faheem Ashraf returns to Islamabad after one year with Quetta Gladiators. The bowling all-rounder would select himself, as he can take wickets in all phases and knows how to swing his long handle down the order.
Chris Green, who came as a late replacement for Max Bryant, is likely to play from game one. The off-spinner has abundant experience playing across the globe as a T20 agent. He will complement the bowling attack, which includes the young guns in the pace department.
Mohammad Hasnain and Salman Mirza will end the list, as the two pacers will have to fill the big shoes of Naseem Shah. And they are expected to play ahead of Salman Irshad, as they have the required skillsets to complete this bowling line-up.
