Nkomo is a right-arm medium pacer who plays for Zimbabwe national cricket team.
The Kewke-born made her first-class debut in 2016 and since then has been a consistent performer at the domestic level.
She rose to prominence in a 2017 Quadrangular Tournament, featuring Ireland and England Lions. In a match against the England Lions, Nkomo grabbed match winning figures of 4 for 48 to decimate the England top order.
She eventually got her chance to be in the Zimbabwe squad for their tour to Namibia. The pacer made her debut in the first T20I of the series and instantly hogged the limelight by picking up 4 wickets to completely rattle the opposition with pace and accuracy.
So far, Nkomo has been brilliant for the Zimbabwe women’s team. She has been a breath of fresh air in the squad and her pace along with accurate line and length makes her a dangerous commodity in women’s cricket.
