For now, this is Saptak Sanyal, signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Akshay Bhide, Rajarshi Das and Arijit Kundu, the scorer/analyst Dushyant Madhukar Kumar and the statistician Aman. Good night.
Now, the action shifts to T20 cricket. From 3rd October, the three-match WT20I series will start between these two teams. First ball will be bowled on Saturday, at 3:30 PM IST and 12 PM Local Time. Do join us for the coverage.
Hayley Kristen Matthews collects the series trophy and joins her teammates for a celebration. They are now posing for a photograph. Hayley has led the Caribbeans from front and they are the deserving winners. After having a hiccup in the second WODI, they bounced back with a huge 91-run victory in the decider to win the series by a margin of 2-1.
Hayley Matthews (West Indies Women Captain): "(How important was that in you getting the big score in the first audio the big score in the third yeah it's really important i think it's always a lot easier when you have someone that agrees)

I'm really excited with you and the first game I had Riliana out there. I bought her for some time and then today she made it. I think she played wonderfully to get her 96 as well, but really make it easy for me too. So, yeah, really good to get my own personal performances, but I think it's even better when you can do it with a teammate there by your side helping out. And after losing that second, what it is that you had to do to put yourselves together to get ready for this win?

Just come back. I'm ready to go again. I feel like we certainly thought that we let ourselves down in that second ODI and we know we played way below our standards. So yeah, we had to make sure that we came back today ready to go again, ready to pick ourselves up. And yeah, thankfully we were able to, like I said, get the big partnership, but then also come out and bowl really well to have a comprehensive victory. Well, thank you very much and congratulations on your victory."
Josephine Nkomo (Zimbabwe Women Captain): "(What went wrong for you after winning the toss?) I think we started well in the powerplay bowling wise. But lapse in concentration for about 10 or 15 overs and they managed to score a few runs. I think we bowled well.

(On the WODI series) Of course we are so happy and super excited. We hope to continue with more improvement.

(On the positives from this series ahead of the India tour) I think definitely the bowling. Our bowlers did well. Special mention goes to Nyasha (Gwanzura). She bowled really well. Our seamers also did well."

7:50 PM IST and 4:20 PM Local Time: West Indies Women have outplayed Zimbabwe Women by a huge margin of 91 runs in this decider ODI and bagged the series by 2-1 margin. Hayley Kristen Matthews led from the front alongside Shemaine Campbelle earlier. Their bowlers got the job done with a complete team effort.
West Indies were sent to bat first after losing the toss. Skipper Hayley Kristen Matthews and Realeanna Grimmond were off to a sedate start. Grimmond took 27 balls to score just 3 runs and the opening stand yielded 38 off 62 balls. Things turned in the visitors' favour after Hayley was joined by Shemaine Campbelle. They added 160 runs for the second wicket. Hayley Matthews got to her hundred and scored 118 off 113 before Nomvelo Sibanda removed her.
West Indies had a mini-collapse after that as they lost Chinelle Henry (5) and Stafanie Taylor (8) for cheap scores. But Campbelle continued to play her shots. She hit 13 fours in her 113-ball stay, but fell agonizingly short of a well-deserved hundred by 4 runs. Her 96-run knock was of immense impact for Zimbabwe. Jannillea Glasgow (26 off 21) and Jahzara Claxton (11 off 7) played two cameos to propel West Indies to 271/5.
