For now, this is Saptak Sanyal, signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Mohammad Anab and Abhishek Sharma and the scorer/analyst of this game Ghanendra Singh Thakur.
There is still a game left in the series. On 19th September, Saturday, both the teams will be back again. South Africa Women will be playing to complete a dominating whitewash while Zimbabwe will try their level best to finish the series on a winning note and restore some pride. Do join us for that game.
That marks the end of our coverage from the fourth WT20I of the five-match series between Zimbabwe Women and South Africa Women. This game will remain special for Miane Smit as she registered her maiden WT20I hundred. A complete team effort from the Proteas has given them a massive victory by 80 runs, identical to the margin of the third WT20I.

Miane Smit (POTM): "(On that hundred feeling) Yeah, all glory to God. It’s an awesome feeling. I’m fortunate to have the full support of the coaches and everyone around me. It’s an amazing feeling to work hard and then score a hundred.
(Mentality coming into this game) I think what has helped me over the last two days is staying consistent with my preparation and making the most of the space. For the innings today and the previous one, I had the same mentality. It’s just about executing and keeping that intent.
(Thoughts while stitching the innings) We were probably just looking to play cricket with good intent, looking to maximise the powerplay and take the small options. We were focusing a lot on those partnerships, and then we were able to explode at the end."

Time for post-match presentations...
8:03 PM IST and 4:33 PM Local Time: South Africa Women continue their unbeaten run in the ongoing five match WT20I series against Zimbabwe and their lead is an unassailable 0-4 now. Miane Smit's scintillating hundred set the stage for the Proteas as they got a gargantuan total on the board. In the second innings, their bowlers stepped up to restrict Zimbabwe 80 runs short of the target.
South Africa skipper Laura Wolvaardt won the toss and opted to bat first. Initially it was tough for the batters as it was keeping low. But from the fifth over, Anneke Bosch started playing her shots and she took the score to 42 at the end of the powerplay. Miane Smit, the other opener took 18 balls to get into her groove and she started blazing the lady Chevrons bowling after the powerplay. The opening partnership was of 74 runs in 51 balls before Nyasha Gwanzura removed Bosch (33 off 24).
Annerie Dercksen joined Smit in the crease and they added 62 runs for the second wicket. Dercksen hit 4 fours and a maximum in her 16-ball stay to score 33 runs and Loryn Phiri got the better of her. Smit's knock was decisive in the game. She hit 15 fours and a maximum on her way to score 102 off 59 balls. She scored only 15 in her first 18 balls, but backed it up with 87 runs in the next 41 balls and registered her first WT20I hundred. Kayla Reyneke (18 off 12) and Nondumiso Shangase (10* off 7) propelled the visitors to 205/4 in their 20 overs.
