Francisca Chipare is a right-handed batswoman who plays for the Zimbabwe national cricket team.
Chipare made her Zimbabwe debut in 2018 and since then has not been successful in cementing her place in the national side.
However, she rose to the limelight in the 2020 Provincial Women’s Fifty50 Challenge. In the final against the Rhinos, Chipare was at her menacing best, picking up 5 for 29 to help the Mountaineers win the tournament. For her performance with the ball, the pacer was awarded the player of the match. She also finished as the leading wicket-taker of the tournament, registering 19 scalps to her name.
A talented fast bowler, Chipare’s pace is her biggest strength. The ability to generate pace off the deck makes her a special commodity.
