Player Bio

One of the fearless batters from Barbados, Kyshona Knight is a professional women’s cricketer for the West Indies national team. Born in Bridgetown, she started her domestic journey with Barbados and made it to the international stage in 2013.

Knight made her debut against South Africa Women in January 2013 in the limited-overs series and played her maiden T20 and ODI match within a span of 5 days. Unfortunately, she didn’t have to bat in any of her debuts. The Barbadian suffered from a horrific ligament injury in 2012 and had to undergo an ACL surgery.

Whether it be with her twin or countrywoman Deandra Dottin, Knight is a vital cog in building a partnership in the middle-order. The southpaw has also shown that she’s the dependable hitter when the team requires her to and her experience contributes to the upbringing of the young talents from West Indies.
