Himmat Singh grabbed everyone's attention during the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2026, although not just for his batting. The Delhi batter produced one of the most unbelievable moments of the tournament after an accidental run-out forced the match between New Delhi Tigers and Outer Delhi Warriors into the season's first Super Over.
The dramatic moment took place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium when Outer Delhi Warriors needed just one run from the final ball to chase down 156. Pratham Saluja pushed the ball towards mid-on and sprinted for the winning run.
Himmat Singh, who was fielding, failed to collect the ball cleanly. In frustration, he appeared to kick the ball away. Surprisingly, the ball rolled straight onto the stumps, catching Saluja short of his crease. Even Himmat looked shocked before his teammates celebrated the incredible dismissal as the match ended in a tie.

Will LSG Retain Himmat Singh For IPL 2027 Season?
