Cometh the hour, cometh the man. Virat Kohli once again proved the quote right as the RCB great produced an innings to remember in the IPL 2026 finals against the Gujarat Titans. In a run-chase that was made tricky by the RCB batters, Kohli produced a masterclass and became the warrior for his team in the finale.
RCB needed a modest 156 to clinch their second successive IPL title, and after a solid start from Venkatesh Iyer and Virat Kohli, RCB lost a flurry of wickets as Iyer, Devdutt Padikkal, and Rajat Patidar were dismissed in quick succession. However, Kohli stood tall and made sure that there were no further hiccups.

Kohli started the RCB innings with an assault on Kagiso Rabada. He punished GT’s best bowler and unleashed a flurry of boundaries that took RCB to a strong total in the first 6 overs.
