RCB is taking on the Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2026 match at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, and the first innings turned out to be a cracker of a contest, with Sai Sudharsan dominating the proceedings with the bat. The hosts won the toss and elected to bowl first on a wicket that supported the batters.

Sudharsan took advantage of the conditions as he started slowly, but he picked up pace as the game progressed. The batter was finally back amongst the run-getters as he smacked his third IPL century, and broke several IPL records.

RCB pacer Rasikh Dar injured in IPL Match vs GT

In the middle of a riveting battle between bat and ball, RCB suffered a setback as one of their key player got injured and walked off the field in pain. Rasikh Salam Dar, the RCB pacer was supposed to bowl the last over of the GT innings, but just before the start of the final over, the pacer got injured.

Rasikh has had a history of injuries in the ongoing IPL 2026, as he once again suffered from cramps and looked in immense pain as the RCB physio walked out in the middle. After careful consideration, the physio decided that Rasikh couldn’t continue as the fast bowler was taken off the field, with Krunal Pandya completing his over.

Not the first time Rasikh Dar got injured in IPL 2026

Interestingly, this is not the first time Rasikh Dar, the Jammu and Kashmir pacer has been an injury-prone player for RCB in the ongoing campaign. While he has bowled well in patches, his inability to stay fit has hampered the side.

His first game in the ongoing IPL was against the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede, and in that clash, the RCB bowler looked good as he scalped a solitary wicket while conceding 23 runs in 2.5 overs. However, just like the GT game, he was forced to leave the field due to cramps.

In the ongoing IPL match between RCB and GT, the right-arm fast bowler finished with figures of 0/28 in 3 overs.

After Rasikh, Krunal gives injury-scare to RCB

It wasn’t only Rasikh Dar, who gave an injury scare to the RCB side. Krunal Pandya replaced the injured pacer in the last over, and after bowling two deliveries, Krunal was seen clutching his left groin.

He, too, looked in pain as the physio once again came out to treat the all-rounder. After a couple of minutes, Krunal was ready to roll as he completed his quota, and GT finished with a score of 205/3.

GT finish at below-par total

At one stage, the Titans were 170 inside 16 overs, and they had 4 more overs to continue the carnage. However, RCB bowlers had some other plans as the team executed their death-over plans to perfection, and the team only scored 35 more runs in the last four.

Despite a century from Sudharsan, and a quickfire knock from Jos buttler, the Titans look at least 20 short on this Chinnaswamy wicket.
