Is there any IPL record that hasn’t been achieved by the 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi? Ever since his IPL debut last year, the Rajasthan Royals batter has shattered several records, and the opposition bowlers are yet to find a loophole in his extravagant batting.

He has taken the league by storm with his breathtaking, aggressive batting, and the domination continued in the IPL 2026 match between RR and SRH on Saturday. Returning SRH skipper, Pat Cummins elected to field first, and the decision turned out to be a nightmare as Sooryavanshi tormented his bowlers.

The wonderkid smashed his second IPL century (36 balls), and this was interestingly the third fastest hundred in the IPL history.

Sooryavanshi enters history books once again with SRH onslaught

The left-handed batter made a mockery of the Sunrisers' bowling attack, and in the process, the young sensation etched his name in the history books as he attained the milestone of 1000 T20 runs, and it wasn’t just any other T20 feat that Sooryavanshi had achieved. He became the youngest batter to cross the 1000-run mark in this format.
