DC has been one of the best teams in the tournament so far, having won two in a row. On the other hand, GT have failed to open their account this season, and are lying at the bottom of the table.

A win against the Titans would take the Capitals to the top of the IPL 2026 points table, while GT's victory would help them open their account in the ongoing season.

Gujarat Titans had assembled a settled unit heading into the IPL 2026, but an injury to captain Shubman Gill derailed their campaign. He got injured before the RR game, and that hampered their batting. The former IPL champions boast one of the best top three in the tournament, and the management would hope they can come good against DC.

Unlike their batting, GT’s bowling is strong on paper, with Prasidh Krishna, Mohammed Siraj, Kagiso Rabada leading the line. The franchise has three brilliant pacers, and they have the capability to dismantle the DC batting lineup.

The leader of the spin attack would be Rashid Khan. The wily spinner has not been at his best in recent seasons, but the franchise would hope he can come good at the Arun Jaitey Stadium. Moreover, he can also be a handy lower-order hitter.
