IPL 2026: SRH vs RCB Prediction, Match 67- Who Will Win Today?

SRH vs RCB predictions [Source: AP, AFP]The Sunrisers Hyderabad will meet the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Hyderabad on May 22 at 7:30 PM (IST), as both teams look to finish in the top-2 after already securing spots in the playoff of IPL 2026. This is going to be the last league match for both teams, with RCB going into it as the table toppers with 18 points in 13 matches and SRH are 3rd with 16 points in 13 matches, tied with the Gujarat Titans on points. To RCB’s advantage, a loss is unlikely to displace them from the top-2 due to a significantly better net run rate than both SRH and GT but they would still like to finish the league stage on a high. As the two in-form teams collide in their last match of the league, we explore what to expect from the clash. Interestingly, Cummins has only gotten the better of Kohli once in T20 cricket, when India faced Australia in 2012. Apart from that, Kohli has scored 81 off 57 against the bowler. Considering the good form of both players, it will once again be an interesting battle to watch out for, as both would look to give an early advantage to their teams. Travis Head vs Bhuvneshwar Kumar The SRH opener has had a very evident issue in the corridor outside off stump for some time now, which has also been exploited by the likes of Mohammed Siraj earlier in the season. Returning to Hyderabad, where no other bowler has picked more IPL wickets than him, Bhuvneshwar Kumar is in red-hot form with 15 (2nd most) powerplay wickets in IPL 2026. Head’s weakness and Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s strength as a new ball bowler align to make this another battle to watch out for. Previously, Head has scored 13 (9) vs Bhuvneshwar Kumar in T20 cricket with 1 dismissal for the bowler. Heinrich Klaasen vs Josh Hazlewood In IPL 2026, Heinrich Klaasen is the only middle-order batter contending for the Orange Cap, being only 24 runs behind the leader. He has scored 555 runs in 13 innings, holding the middle-order together. However, over the years, he has shown a slight vulnerability to the wide yorkers or hit-the-deck deliveries on the wide lines. Josh Hazlewood can be the RCB bowler who can exploit this using his experience if they come head-to-head in the match. Klaasen has never scored a T20 run against Hazlewood in 5 balls faced. SRH vs RCB top performers (current squad members) Most runs for SRH vs RCB Abhishek Sharma has scored 334 runs in 10 innings against RCB at a strike rate of 164.53 and has two fifties against the opposition. Most wickets for SRH vs RCB Pat Cummins has scalped 6 wickets against RCB in 4 matches at an economy rate of just 7.93 runs per over and the best of 3/28. SRH vs RCB toss prediction Traditionally, the Hyderabad stadium was a wicket where low-scoring thrillers would happen and the wicket had a bit for everyone. However, in recent years, it has become a high-scoring venue where a first innings score of over 200 is almost guaranteed every match due to the flatness of the surface. A similar will be seen on Friday. This year, 4 of the 6 matches here have been won batting first and the same formula is expected to be followed again.
