The 10th ICC Women’s T20 World Cup will start on 12 June 2026 in England. First, the opening match will be played between England Women and Sri Lanka Women at Edgbaston, Birmingham. 

Moreover, the tournament will follow a round-robin format where all teams play each other once in their group. A total of 30 league matches will be held. 

Then, teams will try to finish in the top two of their group to qualify for the semi-finals. After that, the semi-finals will take place on 30 June and 2 July. Finally, the winners will compete in the final on 5 July 2026.

Women's T20 World Cup 2026 Venues

Seven venues across England will host the Women's T20 World Cup 2026. The group stage and Super 8 matches will be played in six cities - Old Trafford, Manchester, Bristol County Ground, Bristol, Headingley, Leeds, Hampshire Bowl, Southampton, Edgbaston, Birmingham. 

Meanwhile the semi-finals are at The Oval and the grand final will be at the historic Lord's Cricket Ground.
