Virat Kohli & KL Rahul having fun (Source: @klbasit1/X)
Virat Kohli has a habit of bringing out his inner child on the field. 2 days after his 38th birthday, he did it again when India and New Zealand met in Wellington for the second ODI of the five-match series.
However, the Virat Kohli moment happened before IND vs NZ 2nd ODI began, after a bit of delay due to rain. And it was KL Rahul who was at the other end of it.
Virat Kohli Steps In To Help KL Rahul With Quick Overshirt Fix
Rahul was wearing an overshirt, but it didn't fit properly. A staff member from India’s dressing room then brought out a pair of scissors to cut the area near the neckline to fit it better.
In between, Virat Kohli stepped in and did his bit. He kept adjusting Rahul’s overshirt, bringing a lighthearted moment to Wellington with smiles all around.
Anyway, Kohli and Rahul share a very special bond, both on and off the field. Hence, the gesture from Kohli towards Rahul was very normal, yet so heartwarming. No wonder it went viral on social media in no time.

Rahul later went on to take an incredible catch behind the stumps, as Will Young fell to Auqib Nabi, who got his first international wicket on Saturday by dismissing Tim Seifert earlier.
Kohli Aims To Carry On The Momentum With The Bat
Kohli was in impeccable touch in the IND vs NZ 1st ODI at Eden Park, Auckland. In a rain-marred contest, he took only 51 balls to play a well-made 74, with 13 fours and a six.
As he loves playing New Zealand in ODIs, he will want to keep improving his numbers and set a new benchmark for others. He will come to bat later on Saturday, as the match has been reduced to 47 overs per side.
Meanwhile, India ODI captain Shubman Gill won the toss yet again and opted to field first against New Zealand. Kohli, as usual, will come to bat at No. 3.
