In a recent video that went viral on the internet, Virat Kohli was seen jumping with joy and letting his inner child out during the India vs England third ODI at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground on July 19.

Kohli, who came out to bat at No. 3 after Shubman Gill's departure, was later seen in a completely animated mood on the Lord's dressing room balcony as the cameras panned towards him.
He was standing behind Gautam Gambhir and Ishan Kishan in the dressing room. The Indian batting maestro was seen breaking into a hilarious dance, letting out his inner child with some amusing moves.
Gautam Gambhir was seen making animated gestures while chatting with Ishan Kishan, and apparently, neither Gambhir nor Kishan had any idea about what Kohli was doing in the background.

The video quickly went viral, leaving netizens amused and clueless about what Kohli was actually trying to do with those gestures and quick dance moves.

The relation between Gambhir and Kohli
The relationship between Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli has evolved significantly over the years. Their rivalry first grabbed headlines during the IPL, with heated on-field confrontations in 2013 and again in 2023 when Gambhir was the mentor of Lucknow Super Giants.
However, the two publicly buried their differences with a warm handshake during IPL 2024. Their dynamic changed further when Gambhir was appointed India's head coach, making him Kohli's coach at the international level.
Following Kohli's retirement from Test cricket in 2026, speculation about tension resurfaced after the pair were rarely seen interacting during training sessions, especially ahead of the England ODI series.
Reports even suggested they were not on speaking terms. However, batting coach Sitanshu Kotak and BCCI officials firmly dismissed those claims, clarifying that Gambhir and Virat Kohli communicate regularly behind the scenes.
India navigate tough waters as England sing victory song
As things stand now, India are facing a challenging chase, requiring 74 runs from the final 30 deliveries. At the end of 45 overs, India were 314/4. Rohit Sharma played a brilliant knock of 138 runs from 110 deliveries, bringing up his century in just 84 balls.
Shubman Gill also contributed 77 runs before departing in the 25th over. However, as soon as Rohit Sharma was dismissed, Ishan Kishan failed to anchor the innings and departed soon after, with Shreyas Iyer following for a duck.

Earlier, England produced a brilliant batting performance, with Ben Duckett leading the way with 141 runs and Jacob Bethell contributing 91.
