At the toss, Mumbai Indians won the toss and opted to field first. However, the decision turned out to be a nightmare as Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi wreaked havoc.

As mentioned above, the fans turned up in thousand to see whether Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who has taken the IPL 2026 by storm, will be able to spill magic against Jasprit Bumrah, argubally the greatest bowler in the modern era.

Eventually, Sooryavanshi scored 39 (14), which featured a solitary four and five sixes. With his knock, he broke a plethora of records. Notably, it was 15-year-old's 4th 30+ score with a strike-rate of 250+. Only two players have done the feat more than him.
