All eyes in the cricketing fraternity were at Newlands, Cape Town, for the final day of the exhilarating Test series between South Africa and Australia. Ahead of the Day 5 of the series decider, all three results were possible, and Travis Head had a big role to play from the visitors' perspective.

The Proteas were right up for the task and got rid of the dangerous Aussie opener, with the in-form Marco Jansen finding himself in the thick of things again. As Head walked back to the dugout, Jansen went berserk with his celebration.

The incident took place in the early stages of the first session of Day 5 in Cape Town. Kagiso Rabada, who was bowling with his tail up, steamed in at 6.6 for the end of his fourth over with a 143.5 kmph, full delivery on the fifth stump line.

Head chased the delivery, and the ball nipped just enough to find the outside edge of the southpaw's bat. Rabada's new-ball partner, Marco Jansen, was standing at the gully and grabbed it comfortably.

Knowing the importance of the wicket, Jansen went wild with his celebration and punched the air in delight as Rabada also reached his 350 Test wickets.

Australia in deep trouble in Cape Town Test

Ahead of the start of the day, the match was very well poised with all to play for. Australia needed 288 runs, with all 10 wickets in hand. However, Rabada dampened the Aussie spirits early on with a double-wicket over to start the day.

Head, who has already scored a century in the series, previously had the ability to breeze through the chase with another quick-fire knock, while others bat around him. But Rabada was in his element despite a below-par first innings for his standards as he dismissed the danger man Head.

In Steve Smith's absence, the Aussie middle-order performed well in the first innings, but at the end of 16 overs of the innings, Australia are already 46/6, well behind the game currently.
