Virat Kohli’s future with the RCB has been teased by the CEO of the franchise. Pakistan Women’s captain Fatima Sana has been roped in for The Hundred 2026 season. The ECB has announced England Women’s squad for the one-off Test against India Women.

Fatima Sana nabbed by Birmingham Phoenix for Women Hundred 2026
Pakistan captain and seasoned all-rounder Fatima Sana has been roped in by the Birmingham Phoenix franchise for the upcoming Women’s edition of The Hundred 2026. The cricketer will become the first Pakistani player to feature in the Women’s Hundred, as she filled Phoenix’s fourth overseas spot after Cricket Australia withdrew right-arm off-spinner Lucy Hamilton to manage her workload.

England Women name squad for historic India Test
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has named a 15-player England Women’s squad for the upcoming one-off Test against India Women. The match between the two sides will be hosted by the iconic Lord’s in London in July.
Nat Sciver-Brunt will continue to lead the national Test side, and she will be accompanied by Sophie Ecclestone, Alice Capsey, Lauren Bell, Tammy Beaumont, Heather Knight, Issy Wong among others.
Pakistan’s Nida Dar announces international return
Pakistan’s bowling all-rounder Nida Dar has announced her return and availability for international cricket. Back in April 2025 last year, she took an indefinite break from the game citing personal reasons.
Nida Dar last played international cricket for the Pakistan Women’s team way back in October 2024 during the 2024 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in the UAE. Aged 39, the senior pro has so far played 112 ODIs and 160 T20I matches for her country.
Glenn Phillips achieves huge New Zealand record with century
New Zealand all-rounder Glenn Phillips punched out 100 runs from just 135 balls with 18 cracking boundaries against England in the second Test of their three-match series. The innings marked his maiden Test century, thus becoming only the third New Zealand cricketer in history to score at least one hundred in each of the three forms of the game.
He joined former opening batter Martin Guptill and ex-national captain and active England head coach Brendon McCullum in a rare batting club.
RCB CEO predicts IPL future of Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli remains the only cricketer in IPL history to have been associated with a single franchise since the inception of the tournament. The legendary RCB batter also recently lifted the IPL 2026 title in Ahmedabad, thus winning the coveted silverware for the second time in a year.
Aged 37 at the moment, RCB CEO Rajesh Menon recently praised Kohli for his longevity and loyalty, and predicted that the former Indian captain might play four more IPL seasons for the franchise.
