As a result, RR have reached the final stages of the competition and are now preparing to face Gujarat Titans in Qualifier 2.
Additionally, Sooryavanshi’s aggressive batting style has played a major role in Rajasthan’s successful campaign.
Trade Rumours Create Massive Buzz
Meanwhile, several rumours regarding Sooryavanshi’s future have surfaced on social media. One user on X claimed that Mumbai Indians owner Nita Ambani offered the young sensation ₹30 crore to join MI.
The post further alleged that luxurious gifts, including a flat in Antilia and a private island in the Maldives, were part of the offer.
According to the rumours, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi requested time to think over the proposal, while Rajasthan Royals owners reportedly expressed concerns regarding the possible move. Even so, no official confirmation has emerged from either franchise.
IPL's Tip Boss Lalit Modi Reacts To Speculations
Reacting to the viral rumours, IPL founder Lalit Modi dismissed the reports and questioned their authenticity. The IPL's top boss stated that Vaibhav Sooryavanshi could eventually become one of the highest-paid cricketers in the world.
However, he also clarified that such side offers do not fit within official IPL rules and labelled the reports as possible fake news.
"- yes he will command MORE MONEY THEN ANY OTHER CRICKET PLAYER ON EARTH. But these rumoured side offers have no place in official IPL RULES. ALL Sounds like fake news," Lalit Modi wrote.
Importantly, Sooryavanshi remains under contract with Rajasthan Royals. Therefore, he cannot enter the IPL auction unless the franchise officially releases him after the completion of his current deal.
India A Call-Up Rewards Brilliant Form
Apart from his IPL success, Sooryavanshi has also earned a place in the India A squad led by Tilak Varma. The teenage batting sensation will participate in the upcoming tri-series involving Sri Lanka A and Afghanistan A, beginning on June 9.
