Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has been the talk of the hour, especially since getting his maiden call-up for India. Although the 15-year-old is a rarity in world cricket, the next Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is already in line, as mentioned by the father, Sanjeev Sooryavanshi.

The last two years have been nothing short of a dream for Sooryavanshi - from getting picked in the IPL at the age of 14 years, winning the U19 World Cup and then smashing nearly 800 runs in IPL 2026

Putting the cherry on top, the teenager has been included in the Indian T20 squad for the England & Ireland tour and the Asian Games 2026.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's legendary rise

Amidst the IPL 2026, where Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was smashing the best of bowlers for fun, he was included in the India A squad for the Tri-Series in Sri Lanka

However, after the child prodigy slammed back-to-back nineties in the IPL 2026 playoffs, the selectors were lured into selecting Sooryavanshi in the senior Indian team.

Although he has been named in the Indian squad as a backup opener to Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma, he will sooner or later get his chance to don the India jersey and become the youngest ever to represent the country.

Days after his middle child's maiden India call-up, Vaibhav’s father, Sanjeev Sooryavanshi, has claimed that the next Vaibhav Sooryavanshi will be polished in the next two years.

While talking to a local media house the Samastipur Town, Sanjeev has said he is working closely with his youngest son, Ashirwad Sooryavanshi.

"I have full faith that the younger son ready in two years too. He is very beloved among the three sons, and it will take a bit more efforts, but he will be there," Vaibhav Sooryavanshi said about his youngest son.

Who is Ashirwad Sooryavanshi?

Ashirwad Sooryavanshi is the youngest among the three Sooryavanshi brothers. Viral on the social media for his similar looks to Vaibhav, he also plays the sports and is considered an upcoming talented batter.

Although there is not much data about Ashirwad on the internet, the 11-year-old is also an attacking batter, but he is a right-hander who is being groomed by the father.

Just like his elder brother, Ashirwad is actively involved in cricket and is trying to follow Vaibhav's path to excellence.

If Ashirwad and Vaibhav play for India, they will join an elite list of brothers to represent the country at the highest level. The Sooryavanshis will join the Pandyas, Pathans and Amarnaths.

Nevertheless, 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi will next be seen in action during the Tri Series involving Sri Lanka A and Afghanistan A.

After the conclusion of that tour on June 21, he will fly to the United Kingdom with the Indian contingent, with the first T20I against Ireland scheduled for June 26. This is going to be a very short turnaround for the teenager, who has been on the road since the IPL 2026.
