Vaibhav Sooryavanshi makes his India debut
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi found a place in the Indian playing XI, doing so against England in the second T20I of their seven-match European T20I tour. The youngster replaced Sanju Samson in the XI, thus becoming the youngest Indian cricketer in history to play international cricket.

Sooryavanshi started off his career with an audacious six off Jofra Archer, before falling for just 14 runs from 10 balls during his 50-run partnership with Abhishek Sharma.
Axar Patel completes 100 T20I wickets to join rare club
Indian all-rounder Axar Patel completed 100 T20I wickets in his career by dismissing England captain Harry Brook in a high-scoring game at Old Trafford in Manchester. The cricketer also conceded just 20 runs off his four overs in a game where both teams aggregated nearly 400 runs.
Patel has now become only the fourth Indian bowler to reach 100 T20I wickets, joining Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya.
Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh take heavy beating in India defeat
Both Ravi Bishnoi and Arshdeep Singh conceded two of the five most expensive overs bowled by any Indian bowler in T20I cricket. While Bishnoi leaked 29 runs from his final over to conclude his figures with 0-60, Arshdeep got belted for 27 runs inside the powerplay despite striking twice in the first over of the England chase.
England ended up winning the match by four wickets and one over to spare to go 1-0 up in the five-match series.
PCB to announce central contracts before WI tour
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is set to announce a list of 45 Pakistan cricketers who will be given central contracts, as per a source close to the board. The source also stated that the board will be identifying players in the central contracts by using specialization-based categories.
The central contracts are expected to be announced by the PCB before Pakistan’s two-match Test tour of the West Indies.
BCB wants Mushfiqur Rahim to coach Bangladesh
Bangladesh legendary wicketkeeper-batter Mushfiqur Rahim will likely join the national side in its coaching set-up. As per reports, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) wants the veteran cricketer to coach the team once he retires from international cricket.
Not long ago, the BCB also named fellow legendary Bangladesh player Mahmudullah as the batting coach of Bangladesh A team. Moreover, the former batter is also the mentor of the Bangladesh Under-19 side.
