Mumbai T20 League Schedule announced [Source: AFP]
The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) have officially released the schedule of T20 Mumbai League 2026, which will feature some of the country's big cricketing names like Shreyas Iyer and Suryakumar Yadav.
Apart from the fourth season of the T20 Mumbai League, a separate tournament for women cricketers of the city will also run in parallel for the first time ever.
T20 Mumbai League 2026 season schedule out
As per reports, the T20 Mumbai League 2026 season will run from June 1 to 13 at the iconic Wankhede Stadium. The women’s league will also run in parallel on the same dates, thus marking its debut. However, the full schedule with fixtures is yet to be released.
Regardless, what stands out is the sheer concentration of talent expected in the men’s competition.
Established India stars like Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, Ajinkya Rahane, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dube will share the stage with emerging Mumbai prospects such as Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Musheer Khan.
Also, the T20 Mumbai League 2026, both men’s and women’s tournaments, will be streamed live on Star Sports and JioHotstar.

Senior cricketers are likely to be partially available
Interestingly, the ongoing IPL 2026 season will go on until May 31, as the finale is scheduled at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Hence, with the T20 Mumbai League 2026 starting from June 1, some players may be unavailable.
If any team from the Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings, RR, CSK or KKR qualifies for the playoffs, it is highly possible that senior players like Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, Ajinkya Rahane, Shivam Dube and Yashasvi Jaiswal will be unavailable for the first half of the tournament.
Suryakumar, for instance, recently welcomed a baby girl and might take some time off to spend time with his family.
Hence, in such a case, the teams will have to be ready with like-for-like replacements. Also, Ayush Mhatre got a severe injury while playing for CSK and is expected to be out of action for a long while. So, he, too, will be missing the fourth season of the T20 Mumbai League 2026.
T20 Mumbai League is a good platform for aspiring stars
That being said, MCA launched the T20 Mumbai League with a vision to set up a platform for aspiring cricketers from Mumbai to showcase their skills and talent in the T20 format.
The addition of star players has only added to the popularity of the league. Also, the last three seasons were highly successful, which encouraged the league to also set up a different tournament for the women's cricketers.
This way, Mumbai is ensuring that its cricketers get the best facilities and exposure to compete at the highest level and make the city proud in the future.
