She is just behind former Australian seamer Megan Schutt, who snapped 806 points. She has replaced England’s Sophie Ecclestone in second position, but is still 75 points behind the number-one-ranked Shree Charani. Additionally, English spinner Linsey Smith, Pakistan’s Sadia Iqbal and Australian Annabel Sutherland have all climbed one spot, landing in sixth, ninth and tenth place on the latest T20I rankings. Meanwhile, the leading run-scorer of the tournament (236 runs), Shafali Verma, has seen a promotion in the T20I batting rankings, as she has raced to sixth place and is behind her opening partner, Smriti Mandhana. Meanwhile, the Australian duo of Beth Mooney and Georgia Voll regain their top spots, followed by the South African captain Laura Wolvaardt and West Indies' skipper Hayley Matthews at third and fourth place, respectively. Bangladesh captain Nigar Sultana has entered the top 20 of the T20I batting rankings, despite scoring just 56 runs in four innings in the Women’s Asia Cup 206. What’s next for India after Women’s Asia Cup triumph?After a competetive tournament in Dubai, Team India, along with Shree Charani, will take a breather before they fly out to Japan for the Asian Games 2026. The defending champions will again be led by Harmanpreet Kaur, with Charani, Nandani Sharma, and Kranti Gaud expected to play an instrumental role in the games. Although younger guns will lead the Women in Blue’s bowling attack, they will still start the tournament as firm favourites, with a head-and-shoulders difference between them and the other Asian nations.
