"An investigation into reports of an assault in Derby city centre has been closed," the police said in its statement as quoted by Cricinfo. It would be interesting to see whether the ECB takes any disciplinary action against the 31-year-old seamer, as they have been stricter since a similar Ben Stokes-Gus Atkinson episode earlier this summer.
