Delhi Capitals Women blanked UP Warriorz to cap the league stage of the WPL 2026 season on an emphatic note. The outcome also helped the Capitals seal a spot in the playoffs of the tournament.

Kapp eventually finished her four-over quota with sensational figures of 3-30.

Lee’s opening partner Shafali Verma led Capitals’ recovery with a steady 73-run partnership with vintage South African Laura Wolvaardt. The two cricketers cruised the Capitals towards safe waters, with Verma compiling 29 off 33 balls. Wolvaardt herself blasted 47 from just 36 deliveries with seven cracking boundaries to top-score in the innings.

Jemimah Rodrigues negates Deepti Sharma, Ecclestone’s fightback

Deepti Sharma fought back for the UP Warriorz with the huge wicket of a well-set Laura Wolvaardt as well as that of Chinelle Henry in quick succession.
