Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has been in terrific form in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2026), and even the opponents are wary of his talent and the danger he possesses with the bat. Sooryavanshi has amassed 579 runs at an incredible strike rate of 236.32 in 13 games, with an incredible 53 sixes to his name.
He became the youngest Indian to score more than one century in the Indian Premier League after his 103-run knock against Sunrisers Hyderabad and was recently dismissed for 93, as he helped Rajasthan Royals defeat the Lucknow Super Giants.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s excellent IPL record
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi made big headlines when he became the youngest in IPL history to make his debut at the age of 14. He smashed a six off the first ball he faced in the IPL in Jaipur. He then became the youngest in IPL and T20 cricket to score a century when he smashed a hundred against Gujarat Titans.
He had scored more than 250 runs in 7 games with one century and one fifty, and everyone doubted whether he would be able to continue in the same vein in IPL 2026. Sooryavanshi had done well for India U19, scoring 175 in the final of the youth World Cup against England U19 and helping the Boys in Blue win the title.
