In a viral post shared by former Indian legend MS Dhoni, popular actor Ranveer Singh was seen in his infamous ‘Dhurandhar’ get-up. The unexpected crossover left fans amused as they shared memes on social media.
‘Dhurandhar’ is an Indian spy thriller directed by Aditya Dhar. After its first part achieved enormous success, the second part was released in the theatres earlier this week.
Ranveer Singh is the lead of the movie, playing the character of secret agent ‘Jaskirat Singh Rangi', who is using the disguised identity of ‘Hamza Ali Mazari'.
Dhurandhar-MS Dhoni crossover wins the internet
In July 2024, former India captain MS Dhoni attended the grand wedding of Indian businessman Anant Ambani in Jamnagar with his family.
He later wished the couple on Instagram, saying, “Radhika, may your radiant smile never fade! Anant, please continue to cherish and care for Radhika with the same love and kindness you show to everyone around you. May your married life be filled with happiness, laughter, and adventure.”
However, after the release of the movie 'Dhurandhar', fans noticed something odd about the picture. The post was photobombed by actor Ranveer Singh, who was seen in his movie character ‘Hamza Ali Mazari’ get-up.
Fans quickly spotted Ranveer’s similar look and made memes on social media. The picture also featured business tycoon and Anant's father, Mukesh Ambani, who was greeting Dhoni’s wife, Sakshi.

Dhurandhar 2 smashes the box office
Meanwhile, Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh has delivered a thunderous start at the box office with Dhurandhar 2, as the film stormed past the ₹100 crore mark on its opening day.
Despite facing delays and cancellations across multiple regions, the action-packed sequel registered a massive ₹102 crore debut, outperforming its predecessor, Dhurandhar, by nearly four times.
With numbers already surpassing some of Bollywood’s biggest openers, the film has set the stage for what could be another historic blockbuster run. Also, the film has yet another part which will be released later in the year.
MS Dhoni to feature in IPL 2026
As for the cricket field, legend MS Dhoni will be back on the field to entertain his fans from March 28, as the IPL 2026 season will kick off.
CSK will begin their campaign on March 30 against Rajasthan Royals. This year, Ruturaj Gaikwad will lead the franchise, while Dhoni may adjust into the impact player role.
The reason behind this bold prediction is the inclusion of Sanju Samson. CSK acquired the star wicket-keeper batter from Rajasthan Royals through a blockbuster trade where they parted ways with all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran.
Hence, if Samson takes over the wicket-keeping role, MS Dhoni will have to adjust himself as an impact player. Since Dhoni is also struggling with a chronic knee injury at 44 years of age, the impact role seems more realistic.
