His latest comments come at an interesting time for CSK, who are looking for a new head coach after Steven Fleming’s departure. Bravo’s deep connection with the franchise naturally makes his words worth watching, even without a direct CSK link.
Dwayne Bravo Speaks On West Indies Coaching Future
Dwayne Bravo has built a strong coaching career after retiring from cricket, especially in T20s. His past association with CSK also makes his coaching journey interesting as the franchise searches for a new head coach.
With CSK looking for Stephen Fleming’s replacement, Bravo’s latest comments have come at an interesting time. However, he was not directly talking about the CSK job when he discussed his coaching future in a podcast named the Super Over Pod.

During the podcast, Bravo was asked if he would want to coach the West Indies anyday in future. The question came while the Caribbean side already has a coach, but Bravo made it clear that he could see himself taking up the role someday.
“That’s a tough question to answer when there is a current coach but eventually one day, yeah of course. I don’t think I want to coach Tests or one day. My biggest strength is a T20 coach and that will be my main interest,” Bravo said.
Bravo also said he would be happy to work with the current West Indies head coach Daren Sammy and join his staff. He believes West Indies are a serious team but need better planning and player support, while coaching the side remains a possibility for him in the future.
Should CSK Take Dwayne Bravo’s Comments As A Hint?
Dwayne Bravo’s latest comments on his coaching future could certainly make CSK fans wonder if he could be an option for the head coach role. His T20 coaching experience and strong connection with the franchise make him an interesting candidate.
However, Bravo was speaking about his wider coaching future, not the CSK vacancy. Still, with the franchise searching for a new head coach, his T20 coaching experience and strong connection with CSK could naturally make him a name fans discuss for the role.
How Bravo fits CSK's puzzles?
Dwayne Bravo has a strong connection with CSK and enough coaching experience to be considered. However, his current KKR mentor contract runs until the end of IPL 2027, making an immediate move to CSK difficult.
CSK may therefore need to explore other options. Eoin Morgan’s name has recently circulated, while Albie Morkel becoming Joburg Super Kings head coach could also be relevant. Michael Hussey’s future also looks uncertain, with links to England and Australia cricket.
For now, Bravo remains an interesting possibility rather than an obvious candidate. His experience as head coach of Trinbago Knight Riders, Los Angeles Knight Riders and Abu Dhabi Knight Riders gives him credentials, but CSK’s search could take them elsewhere.
