On Tuesday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced a strong Pakistan A squad for the ACC Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026. Notably, the Boys in Green are the defending champions of the tournament.

Middle-order batter Abdul Samad will lead the Pakistan A team, while regulars like Hasan Nawaz, Sufyan Moqim and Maaz Sadaqat have been included.

The Pakistan board has picked a strong 15-member squad, which will be led by Abdul Samad, who was Abbas Afridi's deputy during the Hong Kong Sixes 2026, where Pakistan won the Plate Final.

The talented pair Farhan Yousuf and Maaz Sadaqat will likely open the innings, along with Haider Ali, Hasan Nawaz, Shamyl Hussain and skipper Samad will strengthen the middle order. Rohail Nazir is the lone wicketkeeper in the Pakistan A squad for the ACC Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026.

Pakistan A to face India A, Nepal, UAE in group stage

The defending champions, Pakistan A, will begin their campaign in the ACC Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026 against United Arab Emirates on November 20 at University of Doha Science and Technology.

The clash of the tournament, between India A - who will be led by Tilak Varma - and Pakistan A, will be played at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium on November 22.

Whereas, Pakistan A's final league game will be against Nepal on November 24. The tournament will run between November 19 to November 29 in Doha, Qatar.
