The BCCI Men’s selection committee has unveiled the entire India A squad for the upcoming 2026 Men’s Rising Stars Asia Cup 2026. Tilak Varma has been appointed as captain of the 15-player group, which also features fellow Indian internationals like Abhishek Sharma, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Harshit Rana and Rinku Singh.

For Harshit Rana, the tournament marks his return to competitive cricket for the first time since returning from England back in July this year.

BCCI name India A squad filled with India, IPL stars

The BCCI has named a formidable India A squad for the 2026 Men’s Rising Stars Asia Cup, set to be played in Qatar later this month. The team features several international stars like Abhishek Sharma, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, Harsh Dubey, Prince Yadav as well as comeback man Harshit Rana.

Tilak Varma was named as team captain, while RCB’s two-time IPL-winning captain Rajat Patidar will serve as his deputy. Several other IPL stars also made a cut into the 15-player India A squad, including Punjab Kings wicketkeeper-batter and explosive opener Prabhsimran Singh. Gujarat Titans star Kumar Kushagra will also travel with the team as a backup wicketkeeper option.

India A’s bowling cartel consists of pacemen Harshit Rana, Prince Yadav and Arshad Khan as well as spinners Harsh Dubey, Tanush Kotian, Vipraj Nigam and all-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed. Here is a look at the complete India A squad for the multi-nation tournament.

India A schedule for Rising Stars Asia Cup 2026

As per the schedule of the Rising Stars Asia Cup 2026 unveiled by the ACC last month, the India A team is paired in group B alongside Nepal, UAE and defending champions Pakistan A.

India A, under Tilak Varma, will start off their campaign with a match against Nepal on November 20 at the West End Park International Stadium. The venue will also host the blockbuster India A vs Pakistan A match just a couple of days later.

On November 24, India A will take on UAE at the University of Doha for Science & Technology to cap their opening round.
