An end on a winning note for Bangladesh in the tri-series as they register a 13-run victory over the Netherlands, who will remain at the bottom of the points table. The hosts, Scotland, have now been officially declared the winners of the Heriot-Watt University Women’s T20I Tri-Series. Interestingly, all three sides will head to the upcoming Women's T20I World Cup, taking some positives from this Scottish tri-series.
On that note, it is a goodbye from Mohammad Anab, Soumarya Dutta and Manish Bishnoi. Till then, cheers.
Nigar Sultana Joty (Bangladesh Women Captain): "It was a great game and glad to be on the winning side.
(On whether the score was enough) I told the girls that the score wasn't enough. We had to be disciplined with the wind blowing as well. We tried to keep things tidy.
(On preparation for the T20 World Cup) It was a great decision by the management to get us here so early. We could get accustomed to the conditions here and it has worked well for us. We will be able to make the most of it hopefully as the main tournament begins. "
Babette de Leede (Netherlands Women Captain): “Yeah, I think we had a great start again. I think it's been the story of this tri-series for us — our batting starts off quite well and then we give it away a little bit at the end.
(On the side's fielding) Also, I think in the fielding, we should have taken more catches. Then the total wouldn't have been so high. But it's great preparation for the World Cup. We know we can beat them from the previous game, so we're looking forward to next week.
(On positives from the series) Yeah, it's always good to be back playing international cricket. I think thanks to Cricket Scotland for hosting this amazing series. It's been great to play here because the pitches have been really good."
Dilara Akter (POTM): "I was trying to use the dimensions of the ground to my advantage and it worked for me. Loved batting in the middle and really enjoyed my innings."

Time for post-match presentations...
9:39 PM IST, 5:09 PM Local Time: Bangladesh Women have registered a win by 13 runs. A collective performance from the Asian side. They will finish at the second spot while Netherlands Women will remain at the bottom of the points table.
After being given a target of 99 runs in this 8-over-a-side contest, Netherlands started strongly and the openers, Heather Siegers and skipper Babette de Leede, added 52 runs for the first wicket inside 5 overs.
They looked well on course to reach the target but then the twist started to happen. Skipper de Leede departed for 31 off 14 balls while Siegers made 21 off 15 balls. Number 3 batter, Robine Rijke, scored 21 off 12 balls but was not supported from the other end. None of the remaining batters scored in double digits.
With 19 needed from the final over, the Dutch had a chance to seal a victory but seamer Ritu Moni bowled a brilliant final over. Three wickets were fallen in that
Moni ended up with figures of 2/11 while Fariha Trisna bowled well and took a couple of wickets as well. Both of them applied the brakes on the Netherlands' innings due to which the asking rate started to mount up in the second half of the innings. The efforts ensured that Netherlands could manage only 85/5 after the end of the 8th over.

2 BANGLADESH WOMEN WIN! THE TIGRESSES HAVE CLINCHED THIS GAME BY 13 RUNS! It has been a brilliant effort from them with both the bat and the ball and they've knocked out the Dutch who were in the game right till the very last over. Coming to the delivery, it was a low full toss and bowled at the stumps. Khurana slogged across the line and got it to fine leg for a couple of runs.
