Litton Das has had a rollercoaster of a month. The Bangladesh star was facing disciplinary issues before Australia's visit because of his unauthorised visit to China. The right-handed batter was not supposed to be fit for the 1st Test, but made a quick recovery and was a late addition to the squad for the 1st Test.

Litton Das had a Test series to forget because the right-handed batter failed to score a solitary run. Litton Das scored a 12-ball duck in the first innings of the 1st Test and did not get to bat in the 2nd innings.

Going into the 2nd Test, which ended in two days, Das scored a 10-ball duck, followed by a 5-ball duck, resulting in 0 runs for Litton Das in the entire series. It is not a common sign in Test cricket when a batter fails to open his account in the entire series.

Similarly, there have been past instances of players not scoring a single run in entire Test series (minimum 2 matches).

1. D. Ramnaraine (West Indies)

West Indies' Dinanath Ramnarine also hold the record for not scoring a single run in a Test series. West Indies toured Sri Lanka in 2001 for a three-match Test series. Ramanrine got to bat six times in that series and failed to open his account.

During the infamous Sri Lanka tour, Ramnarine scored four ducks and remained unbeaten on 0 on two occasions.

2. P. J. Pocock (England)

England's P.J Pocock is also on the list. England hosted West Indies for a two-match Test series in 1984.  Manchester and The Oval hosted the two important fixtures and P.J Pocock failed to get going with the bat.

The England star scored four ducks in a trott, but shone with the ball as he picked up a four-wicket haul in the 1st Test. Nonetheless, P.J Pocock entered in the unwanted list.

3. Nuwan Pradeep

Sri Lanka's Nuwan Pradeep has etched his name into this unwanted feat twice. The first instance was against West Indies in 2015. Pradeep scored three ducks and didn't get to bat in the 2nd innings of the 1st Test.

The second instance was against Pakistan in 2017, which also turned out to be Nuwan Pradeep's last Test series for Sri Lanka.

4. Ashish Nehra

The only Indian on the list is Ashish Nehra. The former India seamer scripted this unwanted feat during 2003-04 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. India played four Tests against Australia and Ashish Nehra registered 5 ducks.

5. Ebadot Hossain

Bangladesh's Ebadot Hossain first-ever Test series turned into a disaster after he failed to score a solitary run with the bat. He played four innings in that 2019 series and got two ducks and remained unbeaten in two innings.

He repeated the same against South Africa in 2022 series, where he failed to score a solitary run.
