The Global Super League (GSL) 2026 is done and dusted, and as many as seven Pakistan international players took part in the competition with the aim of telling the PCB they are not done yet in the T20 set-up.
Based on their overall performance, let’s take a look at who can be ranked where among players from Pakistan after the conclusion of GSL 2026.
7. Shamyl Hussain - 3/10
Shamyl Hussain, who made 10 runs in two ODIs for Pakistan while playing in Bangladesh in March, failed to shine in GSL 2026 as well. Playing for Lahore Qalandars, all he could muster were 54 runs across four innings in the competition, striking at 90.
Playing as an opener, Shamyl did score 36 in one match against Lahore Qalandars, but he took 36 balls as well to get there.
6. Abdullah Shafique - 3.5/10
Abdullah Shafique, who later joined the Pakistan squad for the West Indies Tests, could only manage 41 runs in three innings at 117.14.

In fact, the strike rate only improved a bit due to his 13-ball 21 against Guyana Amazon Warriors in his last match in GSL 2026, on July 27.
5. Usman Khan 4/10
Once projected to be Pakistan’s X-factor in the T20 set-up, Usman Khan had only one significant knock in GSL 2026. It came against Lahore Qalandars, the match in which he made 41 off 32 balls.
Other than that, his scores read 12-ball 14, seven-ball 5 and a golden duck.
4. Mohammad Haris - 4.5/10
Haris, once leading Babar Azam-starred Pakistan domestic team in the Champions One-Day Cup, disappointed a lot in GSL 2026. All he could tally was 87 runs across five innings, including a paltry seven-ball six in the final.
Even though Haris had two 30+ knocks in the competition, he was inconsistent, and had an issue with the strike rate till the tournament ended.
3. Usama Mir - 6.5/10
Mir, one of Pakistan’s forgotten spinners, was impressive with the ball in GSL 2026, having taken seven wickets in four matches at an economy rate of 7.50.
Playing for Lahore Qalandars, Mir’s best outing in the Global Super League 2026 came against Desert Vipers. There, he took 4/23 off his four overs, and Kyle Mayers, Rilee Rossouw, Saiteja Reddy Mukkamalla and Shadab Khan were his victims.
2. Shadab Khan - 7/10
Shadab took eight wickets in five matches, of which seven came in just two matches, against champions Guyana Amazon Warriors and San Francisco Unicorns.
However, with the bat, he made little impact, as 33 runs across four innings speak volumes.
1. Sufiyan Muqeem - 7.5/10
Muqeem had an exceptional economy rate of 4.94 in GSL 2026 while taking six wickets in four matches. Apart from the Lahore Qalandars match, he took at least a wicket in each of his three outings this season.
Playing for Perth Scorchers, Muqeem’s best bowling performance came against San Francisco Unicorns. Despite the fact that they lost the match by five runs, Muqeem returned 3/21 off his four overs.
