Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) had a dramatic and memorable IPL 2026 season. After winning only one of their first four matches, many had already written them off. However, a stunning turnaround in the middle phase of the season changed everything for SRH.

SRH finished third in the league stage with nine wins. Their campaign finally came to an end in the Eliminator against Rajasthan Royals, but the season still produced several positives, especially with the bat.

Here are the detailed player ratings for SRH’s IPL 2026 campaign.

SRH Player Ratings for IPL 2026:

Ishan Kishan - 7.5/10

Runs: 602, Matches: 15, Average: 40.13, SR: 182.42

  • Ishan Kishan had a great season in IPL 2026. Apart from contributing with the bat, he also stepped up as captain during the early phase of the tournament when Pat Cummins was unavailable due to injury.
  • Ishan Kishan handled the pressure brilliantly and played a major role in SRH’s turnaround. His attacking batting, combined with responsible leadership, helped SRH recover from their poor start.

Heinrich Klaasen - 7.5/10

Runs: 624, Matches: 15, Average: 48.00, SR: 160.00

  • Heinrich Klaasen was SRH's most reliable performer during the middle and death overs. He smashed six half-centuries and consistently accelerated innings depending on the situation. His ability to hit spin and pace equally well made him extremely difficult to bowl to.
  • Unlike in previous seasons, when he attacked from ball one, Klaasen showed better control while still maintaining a superb strike rate.

Nitish Kumar Reddy - 8/10

Runs: 302, Matches: 14, Average: 30.20, SR: 171.59

Wickets: 8, Matches: 14, Economy: 10.41

Smaran Ravichandran - 1/10

Runs: 19, Matches: 6, Average: 6.33, SR: 76.00

  • The young batter struggled to make an impact in his debut IPL season. Despite showing promise in domestic cricket, Smaran struggled to adapt to the pace and pressure of the IPL.

Aniket Verma - 1.5/10

Runs: 79, Matches: 10, Average: 13.16, SR: 146.29

  • Aniket Verma lacked consistency overall in IPL 2026, but his explosive 43 off 18 balls against RCB was one of the standout cameos of the season and displayed his power-hitting ability.
  • However, apart from a few quick knocks, he could not make regular contributions in the middle order. SRH may still see him as a useful finisher for the future.

Liam Livingstone - 0.5/10

Runs: 15, Matches: 2, Average: 7.50, SR: 60.00

  • Liam Livingstone's season was extremely disappointing. Bought for a huge amount (INR 13 crore) in the auction, expectations were high, but the limited opportunity in the playing XI made an impact on his performance.
  • He played only two matches and failed to contribute with the bat.
