Since Shubman Gill's IPL debut in 2018 for KKR, he has consistently found himself in tough situations in crunch matches. The aforementioned records are a good exhibit of his temperament under pressure and are expected to perform well more often than not.
He can play the anchor as well as take on the bowlers at will, which shows his game awareness. For the Titans to beat RCB and go ahead in the tournament, Shubman Gill doing well is of utmost importance. He will be their single most important batter in these matches.
Notably, his best has come at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, where the IPL 2026 final will be played, and a win over RCB in Qualifier 1 or in Qualifier 2 against SRH or RR increases GT's chances of winning at home significantly.
