The IPL 2026 league stage officially concluded with Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Gujarat Titans, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Rajasthan Royals sealing the four playoff spots after a highly competitive season.

RCB finished at the top of the table with 18 points and a superior net run rate of 0.783 after winning nine of their 14 league matches. Gujarat Titans also ended with 18 points and secured second place following another dominant campaign led by their balanced batting and bowling unit.

Sunrisers Hyderabad grabbed third place with 18 points as their explosive batting lineup powered them through crucial victories late in the season.

Rajasthan Royals became the fourth team to qualify after defeating Mumbai Indians in their final league game to finish with 16 points.

The playoffs will now shift to Dharamsala, New Chandigarh, and Ahmedabad, where four high-stakes knockout matches will decide the IPL 2026 champion.

The IPL 2026 playoffs will be hosted across three venues. Qualifier 1 between RCB and GT will take place at the scenic Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala.

The venue previously hosted several league-stage matches this season and is expected to provide pace and bounce for fast bowlers.

The Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, New Chandigarh, will host both the Eliminator and Qualifier 2.

The IPL 2026 final will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 31. The world’s largest cricket stadium is expected to host a packed crowd for the grand finale of the tournament.

IPL 2026 Playoffs Match & Toss Timings

All four IPL 2026 playoff matches will begin at 7:30 PM IST. The toss for every match is expected to take place at 7:00 PM IST. International viewers can watch the matches from 2:00 PM GMT onwards.

The evening scheduling has been maintained to maximise prime-time television viewership and provide ideal playing conditions under lights during the knockout stage.
