After disappointing tours to Ireland and England, Team India will travel to Zimbabwe for a three-match T20I series. Led by Shreyas Iyer, the Men in Blue will want to forget the past like a bad dream and hope to bounce back strongly in the upcoming series.
Starting on July 23, 2026, all three matches will be played at the iconic Harare Sports Club. Notably, VVS Laxman will accompany the national team as head coach, with the regular India coaching set-up focusing on the Sri Lanka Test tour in August and the white-ball series against West Indies in September-October.
Moreover, considering the Zimbabwe tour as a fringe series, the selectors gave rest to several senior players, including Sanju Samson, Axar Patel, and Arshdeep Singh. On the other hand, some important players like Harshit Rana and Nitish Kumar Reddy missed out due to respective injuries.
As we get ready for the scintillating clash, here’s India’s record in Zimbabwe and at Harare Sports Club.
