Durham

Durham County Cricket Club was founded in 1882 and held minor status for nearly a century. It was a major member of the Minor Counties Championship, winning it seven times. The team was raised to senior status as an official first-class team in 1992, when the club joined the County Championship. Durham has been designated as an occasional List A side since 1964, then as a complete List A team from 1992 and as a senior Twenty20 team since 2003.
